YUMMY - 「美味しい」の俗語のようなイメージがあるこの言葉。英語で聞いている分には、感覚的に意味を捉えていますが、訳すとなると別問題。 “very pleasing to the senses, esp. to the taste; delicious.”(TheFreeDictionary)つまり、においや味がとても喜ばしいレベルであるという意味で、Pleasant や delightful に近いものがあります。
